Mich grew up in Southern California and fell in love
with Santa Catalina on a day trip in the early 1970’s.
He was enchanted by the diverse architecture and
history of the Island. He quickly began to more
thoroughly explore its romantic mysteries and to use
his artistic talent to capture its special spirit.  Mich
and his wife Shelley, who were married on Buena
Vista Point near the entrance to Mt. Ada overlooking
Avalon Harbor,  continue to be frequent visitors.
They now reside in Texas where Mich pursues his
artistic skills now inspired by the Texas Hill Country.
